Author Coaching

This service is a cost effective way to get inside the mind of a developmental editor without the full edit.

If you want an editor’s help to work through an issue with your story, then a coaching call might be all you need. This is especially effective for experienced writers who understand the developmental process looking for guidance. New authors can also benefit with discussions about writing basics to help build foundational knowledge in storytelling.

You set the tone for conversation: we can brainstorm your plot, analyze a character’s Goals, Motivation, and Conflict (GMC), or we can talk about self-editing tips and tricks. Meetings will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, Messenger, or Facetime.

This includes a review of 5,000 manuscript words and up to a fifteen page novel outline.
